What Is Lash Extension Glue?
Lash extension glue is a cyanoacrylate adhesive that bonds individual synthetic eyelash extensions to individual natural lashes, one at a time, during a professional lash service. The adhesive dries through a reaction with ambient humidity, forming a flexible bond that lasts through the natural lash growth cycle — typically 5 to 8 weeks before the extension sheds with the natural lash.
Professional lash extension glue is formulated differently from craft-store super glue. It dries faster, bonds at a microscopic point without flooding the lash, stays flexible rather than brittle, and produces far lower fume levels. SeeJeen® manufactures four skill-level formulas — Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Professional — each tuned to a different drying speed, viscosity and humidity range, so artists at every level can match the formula to their technique and working environment.
